Terriers History

Jim Wilson Jr. "C" Terriers

Local business man Mike Duprey spearheaded the bid for a Junior "C" team in Orillia and became the 1st President and has surrounded himself with very talented, qualified and dedicated supporters.

As General Manager Roy Micks is no stranger to Jr. hockey.  Roy was also the GM with the decomissioned Jr. A Terriers three years ago.  Randy Salmon (fresh from coaching the Tundras) was also behind the bench with the Alliston Hornets and the Huntsville Otters, and will take the helm as the teams 1st' coach.  Great hockey personalitities Mike Borrelli, Dave Dunn, Jamie Clarke, Mike Goudie, Jeremy Rasmussen and Stu Purcell, complete the initial board members.  Their hockey knowledge and contacts will be most valuable to the success of this team, especially in this initial start-up season.  The Terriers will provide a great opportunity for the athletes graduating from the Orillia Minor hockey system, to stay and play in their home town, while they hone their skills at a higher level.

A special thanks to Jim Wilson for sponsoring our new team.
