ORILLIA TERRIERS ANNOUNCE HOCKEY OPERATIONS UPDATE

Orillia, ON: The Orillia Terriers are delighted to announce an exciting change in their hockey operations ahead of the 2024–25 Provincial Junior Hockey League season. Sam Hossack will be rejoining the Terriers as the new Director of Social Media and Photography, a role that marks his return to the team where he began his sports media journey.

Head Coach Dallyn Telford expressed enthusiasm about Hossack’s return: “We are thrilled to have Sam back as part of the Terrier family. He has always represented our organization with professionalism and pride, and we look forward to working with him and having him back at the rink.”

Hossack’s experience in sports media is extensive. Having worked with notable clubs and organizations over the past few years. His expertise in photography and social media will be instrumental in enhancing the team’s online presence and fan engagement.

Andrew McDonald, Terriers’ President and Owner, shared his thoughts on Hossack’s return: “It’s great to have Sam back in the fold. This is where he started his sports media journey, and we’re stoked to have him back. Sam does great work for some big clubs, and we benefit from all the knowledge he’s gathered in the last 4–5 years. Welcome home, Sammy!”

Sam Hossack had the following to say, ” I am beyond excited to return to the Terriers this season. I want to thank Andrew and Dallyn for everything they have done for me to this point. Orillia is home for me so getting the chance to work at the rink that’s just 10 minutes from my house is a blessing and I am super excited to go on a deep run with this team”
